Our Programming

Our programming is designed to open dialogue for veterans, family member's of veteran's, those that are associated with veteran's, and freedom loving patriots that support our veteran's and veteran's issues and causes. The intent is to give veteran's, their family members, care givers and those associated or related a voice and access to others with a means to connect and share stories, problems challenges and solutions with one another.

Our Discussion Format

The hour long program is packed with great content covering the following topics: 

  • From the Front: Discussions about international affair's to include current military affairs, wars and policies overseas.
  • What's Hot: Discussion on current issues affecting veteran's to include VA claims, gun legislation for veteran's, The GI Bill and other veteran's benefits
  • Captain's Corner: An opinion from CPT K on subjects raised of the day about controversial topics
  • Sea Bag Drag:  This topic is for anything that comes out of the duffel bag.  We take calls from our guests and discuss the shows content with the guests and recap the highlights of the show.

About CPT K

Captain Ketler has had an illustrious 24 year military career as both an enlisted Marine and a Commissioned Army Officer.  


He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1994.  He started his Marine Corps career as an Infantryman in the "Uniform Victor" program also known as Security Forces.  His first duty assignment was in the Republic of Panama where he was assigned to the ground defense forces at Rodman Naval Station and participated in Operation's Safe Have and Safe Passage.  He was then reassigned to the other side of Panama and worked at a Naval Installation Galeta Island for the remainder of his Panamanian tour.  In 1995 he was assigned to Marine Corps Security Force Company London, England where he provided physical security for the U.S. Naval Headquarters for Navy Forces Europe.  After completing nearly two years in London he then was reassigned to his Marine Corps line unit, 3rd Bn 8th Marine Regiment (Lima Company, 1st Platoon).  He served the remainder of his Marine Corps active duty time with 3/8 and deployed to Okinawa and Korea in 1997.  He departed the active duty Marine Corps and went into the Individual Ready Reserves (IRR) in 1998.  


In 2001, the U.S. saw the worst terror attack on American soil in history.  At time, on 9/12/2001, Lance Corporal Ketler received a phone call from LtCol. Steve Emerson from HQUSCENTCOM, and Emerson asked Ketler if America could count on him for the war on terror.  Ketler IMMEDIATELY replied YES and was the FIRST American military reservist to be recalled to fight against the War On TERROR!  Jamey Reported to HQUSCENTCOM on 10/15/2001.   Ketler served two more years out of the HQUSCENTCOM in Tampa, FL traveling throughout Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe with the CENTCOM Commander General Tommy Franks,  providing his security for all of his travels.  


In 2003, Ketler departed the active Marine Corps and went into the IRR until 2005 when his contract with the Marine Corps expired and he departed the marines in Dec 2005.  


In 2006, he joined the Army National Guard and earned a Commission as a 2nd Lieutenant after completing Officer Candidate School at the Alabama Military Academy at Ft. McClellan, AL.  Since then, Ketler has served as a Unmanned Ariel Vehicle Platoon Leader, commanding a platoon of Shadow UAV's.  He has served as a HHC, Brigade Company Executive Officer during a unit mobilizations preparing the company to deploy to  the combat zone.  He has served as a Battalion/Camp Intelligence Officer for a military installation in a combat theatre.  He was assigned as  the Assistant Intelligence Officer for a Brigade Combat Team and was assigned as the Director of Intelligence for the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa.  His last and most recent position was the Brigade's Chief of Counterintelligence for a Brigade Combat Team.
